My name is Michael but I go by the nickname Loki in most circles. I grew up in a small town in South East Connecticut & moved to Boston, MA in the spring of 2001. I found my first job in the city working in graphics & printing at Boston University. I stayed working in that field for several years until I discovered my interest in tattooing. After some time I found an apprenticeship in 2007 and started my long journey on becoming a tattoo artist and eventually a shop owner. I love to work with bright vivid colors. The bigger and bolder the images are the better I like them. I also enjoy painting and I currently enrolled myself at Salem University to study painting in a more structured setting. Painting has been an interest of mine for many years. Starting back in my childhood when painting with my grandmother in her kitchen. It's something I always wanted to do more with but never found the time. I hope to see many of you at the shop. Feel free to drop in and take a look around. Someone will be there to help you out and answer your questions.

Ashlie, a Tattoo Artist at Salem Ink has pursued the art of Tattooing for a little over two years. She has apprenticed
in Knoxville, TN and now continues her learning in Salem, MA. Growing up in Florida and hanging out in the local tattoo shops influenced her to do what she loved by creating works of art not only on canvas but on the human body.

Tattoo Artist Adam Harmon began a tattoo apprenticeship in his home state of South Dakota while attending art school. He's now a full artist continuing his education with the staff of Salem Ink. Adam has an interest in the "Art Brut" work of European tattoo artists and the graphic work of Ralph Steadman and Al Hirschfeld.
